Saying Goodbye Is Never Easy

Sad news from the Switzers' on the pet front. We had to take Mambo back to the humane society last week which was emotional for us all. He was a great dog up untill the last few weeks when he would chase his tail for hours and chew on his tail untill he chewed some of it off. Now we are dogless and sad. Luckly our kids are resilient and Coby is already talking about getting some fish, not sure we are ready for that now.

One of our friends invited us to her parents cattle ranch in Castledale UT this weekend for some much needed R&R. All day Saturday we participated in the branding, casteration, dehorning, and shots of these smelly animals. That was a lot of work and a lot of fun. Castledale is in the high deserts of central UT with a population of about 2000 people and an elevation of 5686 ft. We are looking forward to 2/20/08 game between the Suns V Lakers. Tomorrow will be the debut of Shaq in a Suns uniform. The "big cactus" or Baby Huey (as Rachael effectionately calls him) will be entertaining throughout the playoffs and into the NBA championship!
